Parminder Singh Dhindsa joins protest of unemployed PTI teachers

SAS Nagar, October 13, 2022:- Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt), Chief spokesperson and former Finance Minister S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, today joined the ongoing protest of 646 unemployed PTI teachers union at Mohali.
Many senior leaders of the party also accompanied him.  On this occasion, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa also held detailed talks with the teachers union leaders and assured them of all possible help required for getting employment.

S. Dhindsa said that his party would put up a tough fight against the Bhagwant Maan-led state government which has fooled these innocent teachers by making fake job promises.
He said that it is the utmost duty of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to immediately intervene in this matter so that the unemployed teachers who have been on strike for a long time can get relief.

S. Dhindsa also talked about the memories of the unemployed PTI teachers' union and two teachers Sippy Sharma and Veerpal Kaur, who have been on the tank for the past several days. He also enquired about their well-being

Later interacting with the media persons, S. Dhindsa said it is really unfortunate that today the cited teachers like Sippi Sharma and Veerpal are forced to climb atop water tanks to get their employment rights.

It is sad to see that these teachers are today celebrating the auspicious Karwa Chauth festival atop the water tank only, added S. Dhindsa.

He said that before the Aam Aadmi Party came to power, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself had called Sippy Sharma as his sister and had assured her of job security and further resolved her issues on a priority basis. It seems that all such promises were fake just to mislead these teachers and now the Maan government had chosen to turn a deaf ear to the demands of these unemployed PTI teachers.

Unfortunately, the first Congress and now the Aam Aadmi Party is oppressing the teachers who have been struggling for employment for a long time, added S. Dhindsa.
