An awareness program on ' Role of Physiotherapy in Intensive care

World physiotherapy day was celebrated in the advanced eye center by the Pgi Physiotherapists. An awareness program was held on ' Role of Physiotherapy in Intensive care unit and role of exercises in diabetes, by the speakers Dr Lokesh and Dr Sandeep kaur. It was attended by the Dy  Director, Mr Amitabh Awasthi, who appreciated the work of Physiotherapists and congratulated them for their  cadre review and upgradation. Dr Shyam, HOD cardiovascular surgery also gave a motivational speech to the participants. Among Other dignitaries who attended were DMS Ashok Kumar, Nursing Superintendent Dr Jaspal Kaur, Dr Supreet Bindra and Dr Pankaj preet. Dr Pradip Sarkar and Dr Hari haran and Organising secretary Dr Amritpal Singh felicitated the guests and explained the necessity of patient education about Physiotherapy in Diabetes in view of rising no.
