The vibrancy of the Teej festival had a shine of its own at the head office of Motia Group when the Punjab-based real estate firm organised a lively Teej festival for their female employees on 31st July during office hours.
The whole atmosphere was serenaded with traditionalism, beautiful flowers, and the delightful smell of henna as female workers comfortably sat down for a Mehndi-putting ceremony. They cheerfully selected designs of mehndi, and henna makers were called to put mehndi on their hands.
There was also a festive dance segment in which many women danced to their hearts and performed, much to the amusement of their co-workers, and the larger audience rejoiced. Women employees showcased their Indian culture and donned traditional wear and ethnic clothes with churas, bindis, and sindoor, which made them look resplendent.
The workers also expressed their regard for the administration organising special arrangements for them.
Expressing his feelings, Mr LC Mittal, Director, Motia Group, said, “Teej is one of the most deeply respectable and renowned festivals of Hindu traditions. It is celebrated with fervour and exhilaration by people from different walks of life. It was a delight to see our female employees having a great time with dance, music, and mehndi, which are hallmarks of the Teej festival. It was our effort to acknowledge their self-control and the sacrifices which they make on this day for the well-being of their husbands. Women are superb multi-taskers and balance their professional and personal lives well. The Teej celebration was our way to show support to our female employees and entertain them with surprising events.”
