Hannah Nagpal, a student of Gurugram-based Samidha Foundation, performed brilliantly in the Singha-PSLT-AITA National Series 2022 of Tennis held in Jalandhar, Punjab. In this national-level competition, Nagpal became the player to reach the finals in her category in both singles and doubles. Although she lost in the final match of both the formats, the audience and sports critics praised her for her robust performance.
This is a prestigious tournament organised by Singha-Punjab State Lawn Tennis Association (PSLT)-All India Tennis Association (AITA).
Nagpal reached the finals in the singles format, performing brilliantly but lost the singles final. In the same sequence, in the doubles format, Nagpal reached the final with Suryanshi K. With her combined performance, she finished at number 2 in the tournament, emerging as an outstanding runner-up.
Hannah also expressed her gratitude to Samidha Foundation for constant training and support. Samidha Foundation works to help every girl child of a needy family. The foundation aims to provide food, shelter, education and any other help that can shape the child's future.
Hannah Nagpal's father, Kaushal Nagpal, said, “Hannah Nagpal has performed well in both singles and doubles formats in this tournament and reached the finals. Hannah is a talented player who focuses on the technical aspects of the game. As a result of this, her game has been improving over the months. We hope that her performance will continue to be as good as this, and she will represent the country and the state in this sport in future."
