The group also resumes construction activities; labours stay put
New Chandigarh: Admist the pandemic covid-19, one of the biggest challenge the country is facing is the migration of workers and labourers to their native village. The realty major Omaxe Limited has been been feeding the hundreds of laborers residing at their construction sites in Omaxe New Chandigarh and ensuring their safety and hygiene since the lockdown. The realty major has also undertaken measures to support the senior citizens residing in Omaxe New Chandigarh societies.
Undertaking the sliding economy, the government allowed the construction activities to resume post lockdown 2.0 with the labourers available at site. After getting the green flag from the government Omaxe New Chandigarh has resumed its construction activities at its all the project sites on which the labourers have decided to stay put and work at the sites. The group is strictly following the guidelines laid by the government for the containment of Corona and ensuring social distancing among the laborers while working.
The group is also undertaking various initiatives to aid the senior citizens residing in their projects where the staff has pledged to take care of them in any emergency as well as normal circumstances including door to door delivery of groceries, medicines etc. To keep them healthy and to boost their immunity the group has also introduced activities like regular yoga and naturopathy. Along with that Laughter therapy sessions will also be introduced and all these activities will be a part of all the projects in the coming time.
Proper sanitisation and hygiene parameters are being maintained across all the projects of the group in the region and all the activities are being performed by following all the norms of social distancing.
