“SBI Organises Town Hall Customer Meet Across The Country


Chandigarh: 22.11.2019: State Bank of India, country's largest Bank organized Town Hall Meeting all over India, across more than 500 centres on 22nd of November 2019 to understand customers’ grievance and enhance service. It was an open invitation for customers to participate in the meeting and share their experiences and expectations from SBI which would help the bank to further enhance and improve its customer service.
In a nationwide move to hold Mega Customer Meet, Chandigarh Circle also participated actively and organised Town Hall Meeting at 37 Centers across the Circle including Punjab, Haryana, H.P., Jammu &Kashmir and Chandigarh. At Chandigarh Centre, this meeting was held in P.L. Auditorium of Panjab University and in Hotel Sahil at Ropar. Sh. Rajeev Arora, General Manager (NW-1), addressed the gathering in Ropar and Sh. Sanjay Kumar, DGM (CM&CS) addressed the audience in Chandigarh. In their address, the Bank officials said that the Bank is committed to achieve excellence in customer service. Besides providing the information about latest products and schemes of the Bank, they focussed on providing Digital Banking Channels like YONO, YONO cash, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, CDM/ Recycler, SWAYAM etc., to the general public. The Bank officials also shared the good practices to be followed by the customers for safe conduct of digital transactions.
An open session followed where many customers shared their banking experiences with SBI and gave their valuable suggestions and feedback. Their queries were nicely addressed by the senior officials present on the occasion.
Concluding the meetings, the Bank officials thanked the customers for their valuable suggestions and assured that their feedback would help in designing new tools for making improvements in existing services.
