Dev Samaj College of Education: Eye donation awareness session held

NSS units of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36–B Chandigarh in collaboration with Eye Donation Club of the college, organized an informative session aimed at increasing awareness about the need for eye donation. The event was a part of the 'Eye donation Fortnight Celebrations' currently being held till September 8, 2018. A team from advanced eye center PGIMER comprising of Dr. Atul Gautam (Manager Eye Bank), Dr. Samreen Khanam (Senior Resident, Department of Ophthalmology) and Sh. Amritpal Singh (Medical Social Worker) were invited to deliver the informative talk . The aim of the session was to promote eye donation.   The Principal of the College Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon gave a floral welcome to the team of doctors and motivated the students to come forward for Eye donation and make their eyes perennial. Infosys players dominated the league by winning all titles. But this time the renowned director Harry Bhatti is coming with a new film titled ‘Aate Di Chidi’ where he will showcase the importance of this forgotten part of Punjabi culture.
