Baijnath, Himachal Pradesh – In a landmark event held at the PWD Rest House in Baijnath, Himachal Pradesh, the GYAN Wellness Resorts project was officially announced, marking a significant stride towards the empowerment of Gram Sabhas, village development, and the strengthening of rural economies. The event, attended by prominent leaders, press members, and village elders, was preceded by a Bhoomi Poojan ceremony at the project site, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of this transformative initiative.
The project, a collaborative effort by the Teesri Sarkar Federation, Bharat Gathbandhan, and Sadda Khirda Punjab, is financed by the Global Middas Capital Fund, a global wellness and healthcare fund of 1200 CR. This initiative is poised to revolutionize rural economies by focusing on wellness training, therapeutic treatments, and spiritual development, thereby creating a holistic ecosystem for growth.
Key Highlights of the Project:
The GYAN Wellness Resorts project promises to generate employment and training opportunities for the youth, curbing migration and fostering local talent. Through sustainable self-help group projects, women will be empowered to take charge of their economic futures. By promoting spiritual and wellness tourism, the project aims to boost the economies of Palampur, Hamirpur, and Kangra regions. Additionally, the project aligns with the vision of decentralizing power and strengthening grassroots democracy, making Gram Sabhas the cornerstone of India’s progress.

Baldev Raj Sood, Convenor of Teesri Sarkar Federation and President of Swabhiman Party, emphasized, “Gram Sabha is the third parliament of India. The event also highlighted the recent efforts of the Teesri Sarkar Federation in Palampur, where the Gram Sabha movement was initiated, and impact projects were defined as the hallmark of village development. Additionally, Bharat Gathbandhan, an alliance of 103 political parties, reiterated its commitment to fostering a positive political environment in Himachal Pradesh, aimed at state-wide development.
