Kableone, the yet to be launched global OTT platform has announced an honorarium for the prestigious Indian wrestler, Vinesh Phogat. The announcement came today on their social media handle together with a renowned Punjabi actress Sonia Mann who is featuring in the upcoming OTT original ‘Constable Harjeet Kaur’. The platform has also expressed interest in bringing Vinesh Phogat’s story, through a feature film.
Kableone team, praised and lauded the champion in their official statement, issued on their social media handle, which stated, “Even though Vinesh Phogat missed out on the Olympics due to a slight increase in weight, she remains a true champion for us. KableOne salutes her dedication, loyalty, and sportsmanship towards her country.
In honor of her passion and spirit for the sport, KableOne feels privileged to contribute ₹500,000 to Vinesh Phogat. Additionally, if Vinesh Phogat agrees, CableOne is ready to present her inspiring story as a film under the "Stories of Punjab" series. This film will highlight her determination and the challenges she has overcome in her life.”

I believe if we are able to make a film on her journey as a wrestler, it shall be our honour. Kudos to her! We stand strongly with her”.
