Chandigarh, July 23, 2023:
International Vaishya Mahasammelan Punjab Pradesh/Chandigarh organized a grand musical reception and felicitation ceremony under the chairmanship of Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General, Government of India, at the auditorium of Law Bhawan, Sector 37. Chief Guest Ajay Kumar Mittal, Retired Chief Justice of Meghalaya and Madhya Pradesh High Court and Praveen Bansal, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamps. Patron Ret. Justice SN Aggarwal, Retd. Justice RK Garg, Retd. IAS Dr. VC Gupta, Retd. IAS JB Goyal, Chandigarh in-charge of the organization SC Aggarwal and all other office bearers were present on this occasion, and the programme was conducted by State President Surendra Singla.

Retired Chief Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal, while congratulating the children, said that honesty and hard work are the keys to success. He emphasized on making life hardworking and successful.

Satpal Jain, Additional Solicitor General, Government of India, congratulated the children and called them to follow the path of hard work. He said that by getting higher education, we can take care of the parents and family as well as the society.

Patron Ret. Justice SN Aggarwal, Retd. Justice RK Garg, Retd. IAS Dr. VC Gupta, Retd. IAS JB Goyal, Chandigarh in-charge of the organization SC Aggarwal and all other officials were present on this occasion. The programme started with Ganesh Vandana. Artists like Arun Kant, Shweta, Deepti Kaushik, Babita, Jaspreet Jassal, Sanjeev Bhutani Atwal, Paramjit Singh, Raghav, Mukesh etc. performed patriotic and religious songs in the presence of retired IAS SS Prasad and retired IPS Ranju Prasad. They enthralled the gathering by reciting some songs like ‘Mera Karma Tu Mera Dharma Tu’ and ‘Kisi Ki Muskaroton Pe Ho Nisar’.
Prominent persons who were honoured with the OP Jindal Award included youth who cleared the UPSC 2022 exam, like Kanika Goyal, Kaithal (Rank 9), Kritika Goyal, Sonepat (Rank 14), Archita Goyal, Gurugram (Rank 43), Anjali Garg, Panchkula (Rank 79), Paras Garg, IRS, Bathinda, Robin Bansal, Lahargaga (Rank 135), Pranjal Agarwal, Malerkotla (NEET All India Rank 4, 1st in Punjab), Priyanshi Goel, CA, Charkhi-Dadri (All India Rank 8), Priyank Goel, Gidderbaha (Judiciary Haryana), Urvi Gupta, Chandigarh (Judiciary Delhi), Nivesh Agarwal, Chandigarh (IIT), Takshit Agarwal, Chandigarh (IIT), Maulik Jindal Chandigarh (IIT), and Gaurav Goel (IIT).

The personalities who were given Agra Ratna Awards for their pioneering role in national and social welfare included Dr. Sameer Agarwal, Department of Orthopedics, PGI Chandigarh; Dr. Trilochan Goyal, Director, Goyal Alpha Group; Vipin Jain, CEO, Shraman Jain Sweets, Ludhiana; Dr. Sandeep Garg, Managing Director, Eco Group Mohali and Dr. Girish Mittal, Director, Center for Public Policy Analysis, Government of India.
