Panchkula, December 1, 2024: The Amateur Golfers Society (AGS) a non-governmental organisation(NGO) organised the 6th edition of its prestigious golf tournament for amateurs– The Amateur Golfers Society Golf Tournament, at the Panchkula Golf Club(PGC). Anurag Rastogi (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Finance), Government of Haryana, was the chief guest, while guests of honour were Suresh Chandel, former MP from Himachal Pradesh and Sanjeev Goyal (IAAS), Director General Audit (Defence Accounts), Chandigarh. The tournament saw an impressive participation of 104 amateur golfers, many amateur women golfers also took part. Winners in different handicap categories got trophies and special prizes. All the participants were given a goodie pack and participation score card. The golfers played all 18 holes in the 72-par course. Brig G J Singh won in the 0-9 handicap category.
