Livasa Hospitals Launches Weekly Multi-Specialty OPD in Ajnala


Amritsar , 26th February 2025 – Livasa Hospitals has expanded its healthcare services with the launch of a weekly multi-specialty OPD at Noor Hospital, near the Main Bus Stand in Ajnala. This initiative ensures that residents of Ajnala and nearby areas have access to specialist consultations without the need to travel long distances.

Under this program, leading specialists in cardiology, paediatrics, nephrology, oncology, gastroenterology, and neurology will be available for consultations every week, making advanced medical care more accessible to the community.

All consultations will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Noor Hospital.

OTT platform ‘Oceaniek Stream’ launched with premiere of its new show ‘Wedding India The Culture Love’


Chandigarh, February 24
To make a wave in the digital entertainment world, a new OTT platform, Oceaniek Stream, was formally unveiled with its logo by Oceaniek International at a grand launch event held at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh.

The evening was filled with glamour and excitement, as a galaxy of stars from the Pollywood and Bollywood industries graced the grand launch, adding their sparkle to the event. In addition to the launch, on this momentous occasion, an exciting and innovative new show, Wedding India The Culture Love, was introduced on Oceaniek Stream. The show will showcase the beautiful, rich tapestry of Indian weddings, rituals, customs, and traditions. It was also announced that Invest Oceaniek is another project that is in the pipeline.

Youth Space Conference 2025, Chandigarh Concludes

Chandigarh, February 19, 2025: 
Mr. Navdeep Singh, Founder & CEO of the World Space Council, delivered a special address on the vital role of the World Space Council and World Space Academy in advancing space education and research globally. The session underscored the importance of international collaboration in the ever-evolving space sector.

The Youth Space Conference 2025 successfully concluded on February 19th at the ISTC Auditorium, CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh. The three-day event, organized by the World Space Council in collaboration with CSIO, Chandigarh, has garnered significant attention, bringing together over 2,000 attendees from across the globe. The conference provided a platform for aspiring scientists, students, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful discussions on space exploration, technology, and education.

The conference began on February 17th with an inspiring inaugural session, including speeches by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, and a ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The official conference souvenir was released, marking the beginning of this prestigious event. The first day featured technical sessions on Space Technology, Planetary Exploration, and Spacecraft Systems, led by eminent speakers including Dr. Prakasha Rao P J V K S, Dr. Mila Patralekha Mitra, and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gupta. These discussions were followed by a vibrant cultural evening and networking dinner.

On February 18th, Day 2 highlighted a Virtual Interaction with NASA Astronaut Gregory E. Chamitoff, who shared insights on Spaceflight and International Collaborations. The day also included discussions on Emerging Technologies in Space Communication and Human Space Missions, culminating in a thrilling Rocket Launch and Sky Watch session.

The final day of the conference, February 19th, focused on innovations in space technology, startup collaborations, and international partnerships. Esteemed scientists, industry leaders, and space education pioneers gathered to discuss remote sensing, guidance and navigation technologies, funding opportunities, and global educational collaborations. A significant session on International Space Opportunities for Educators and Students, led by Gregory E. Chamitoff and experts from around the world, explored key global space initiatives and career pathways for aspiring scientists.

The day concluded with the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition, a Digital Quiz on the introductory session of Bhoonidhi – ISRO’s EO Data Hub, and a formal group photograph of the participants. The conference successfully fostered knowledge-sharing, innovative ideas, and networking, offering a glimpse into the future of space technology and education.

Mr. Navdeep Singh, during his address, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by CSIO Chandigarh, particularly acknowledging the contributions of Prof. Shantanu Bhattacharya, Director, CSIO, and Narender Singh, Head BDG, CSIO. He also highlighted the growing global interest in space exploration and the crucial role of fostering international partnerships and inspiring young minds to innovate in space sciences.

UID at Chandigarh University holds ‘Thirteen Value Added Courses (VAC)' Initiative


 
Mohali, February 19: The University Institute of Design (UID) at Chandigarh University held its ‘Thirteen Value Added Courses (VAC) Initiative’. The week-long event saw collaborative learning and skill enhancement at its best in engaging workshops in the Departments of Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Interior Design, and Industrial Design. The renowned professionals from the industry and artisans who took part hailed from as far as Odisha, Amritsar, Roorkee, and Jaipur. The activities boasted of participation by notable architects from Hexpressions, Jaipur, recognized on Shark Tank India. Prashik Khandare, Fashion Designer, VEROZY, Mohali also took part.

Under the thematic umbrella of "Styleology," participants delved into multiple workshops including Fashion Illustration, which explored the nuances of art and style characterization. Participants honed their drawing skills, allowing them to visually communicate fashion concepts effectively. Another key offering was the Digitizing Fashion: Clo3D for Next-Gen Designers workshop, which introduced students to advanced 3D garment visualization software. Understanding digital fashion tools is vital as the industry shifts toward virtual design and sustainability. The Phulkari Embroidery workshop celebrated traditional craftsmanship while integrating modern techniques, offering students the chance to learn about the cultural significance of this Punjabi art form in contemporary design.

In the realm of broader visual arts, the Art Direction & Film Making session provided insights into visual storytelling, empowering students to harness their creativity in cinematic contexts. Art enthusiasts also had the opportunity to engage with Palm Leaf Printing, a workshop that combined ecological awareness with traditional artistic expression. Workshops such as UI/UX Design and Basics of Vastu in Interior Design prepared students for the interconnectedness of design and user experience in a digital world. Students learned critical skills for creating functional, aesthetically appealing spaces rooted in ancient architectural principles. The themes of Miniature Furniture and Paper Honeycomb Modular Furniture encouraged innovative thinking and the exploration of sustainable materials, further echoing the necessity of eco-friendly practices in modern design.

The diverse backgrounds of the facilitators filled a creative synergy among students and successfully ignited passion and inspiration among budding designers. Chandigarh University continues to be at the forefront of design education, prioritizing experiential learning and the development of practical skills that respond to the dynamic demands of the design industry.
